[The shinigami stands stock-still, a study in monochrome, like a shadow had peeled itself up off the floor. Entirely silent, save for the nearly inaudible pit-pat-pat of droplets steadily raining off the motionless figure, water pooling beneath the soles of his shoes.

Alright, perhaps not totally motionless; there's the occasional involuntary twitch of mingled aggravation and disgust that comes with being unexpectedly drenched. A keen awareness of how one's own clothing fails to rest comfortably against one's skin when so thoroughly soaked through, almost assured that his shirt is sagging approximately ten centimeters to the right.

Long, long seconds before, eyebrows furrowed and exhaling a thready, careful sigh of muted exasperation, Kid has but a single thing to say on the matter:]
