[The feed clicks on and for a moment, all that can be seen is darkness and the only sound is the occasional wet, sticky squelch. Suddenly light flashes in, the interior of the underwater city (and in particular, the fountain) viewable to all as the video flies into the air, showing the wide open jaws of our favorite god puppy on its way back down before the scene descends into darkness once more.

...Yeah. Chibiterasu's using his communicator as a chew toy. This is clearly the best first impression a newcomer can make when arriving in Vatheon, right? You can tell this is a wolf who has his priorities straight.]

[Chibi looks up at this newcomer, eyes gleaming with that well known playful sparkle of his... And takes another slow, definitve crunch of the communicator before tossing it into the air again.

[He nods in the affirmative, then pauses, and shakes his head instead. If he's completely honest, he's actually kind of bored! He demonstrates this much with a loooong yawn, though his tail is wagging by the end of it, and he looks up expectantly.

[Chibi pauses at this, staring at her with... admiration? Followed by him quickly spitting out the SFC with a happy bark and a wag of his tail.

You have his complete attention, lady, you're too gorgeous not to.]

[She reaches her hand out, palm up, towards him and smiles brightly. He's a little charmer, she can tell.]

[He leans out to meet that hand, sniffing her fingers and maybe being a little disappointed that she's not offering him any food. Attention is just as good, though!]

[She remembers Angelo being a puppy well enough to figure out what this little one is thinking.]

Sorry, I don't have anything on me. Are you hungry?

[She reaches a little further and gives him a scratch behind the ears.]

[He wuffles at this, giving a bark in the affirmative and tilting his head so she can reach behind his ears better.]

[Rinoa giggles as she scratches his ears a little more while she glances around, looking for a food stand.]

Hmmm. There might be a hot dog stand nearby. It's not the healthiest thing for you, but at least it's meat. [Sort of.]

[Oh geez, what? Backing up a little and looking pretty startled, here. She wants him to eat what?

Are... are hot dogs made of dog?]

[...She's starting to wonder about this dog a little. He's uncannily smart.]

Hot dogs? You know, they're made up of pig meat and processed stuff. Again, it's not the healthiest thing but it's yummy.

[His sigh of relief, it is vast and mighty. Good... pig is fine. That's fine.

He hops down from his spot on the fountain, circling around her once then pausing and looking up expectantly. If she's getting him food, then by all means, lead the way!]

[Yep, Rinoa is becoming convinced he can understand her, which is the craziest thing she's encountered so far. Dogs from her world, even her dog, aren't that smart.

But she'll refrain from... asking him for a bit. She wants to be sure beyond a doubt first.

She gestures with her hand for him to follow before she gets up and begins walking down one of the streets where she knew they were most likely to find a vendor.

It takes a little while before she finally spots one. She's up at the booth and showing her mark as quickly as possible, ordering one plain hot dog for the puppy and one with chili and cheese for herself.]
