Eikichi woke up face-down on the pavement of the Plaza completely drenched. Son of a bitch. Now his clothes were all wet and his makeup was running. Dammit.

"Damn demons," he cursed, pushing himself to his feet then whipping out a hand mirror to fix his makeup. Looking bad was just out of the question. He had an appearance and a reputation to keep up, after all.

And when he put away the mirror, that was when he noticed something was wrong. He stuck out like a sore thumb, tall and twiggy, with bright blue hair, eyeliner, and heavy jewelry. Eikichi glanced around at the place. It didn't look like anywhere in Sumaru, not that much of the place was left now. It could be another rumor running rampant, changing Sumaru into something like this.

"Okay, someone tell me where I am and what the hell's going on?"

Selphie giggled at that, and couldn't help but be pleased. And now, the prospect of being able to play again, and maybe even have an audience?!

"Oh yes, please! It'd love it!"

"Great!" This was exciting. Even if he was stranded in a foreign world or the world at home really did end, at least he could still make music. Perhaps Tatsuya and the others would find there way here too.

"we'll get you all dressed up and start practicing right away~"

Selphie bounced a little on the balls of her feet, clapping her hands together!

"Awesome! What kinda costume should I get?"

Yeah, she's thinking of costumes and stages and props already!

"A band's image is just as important as its music," Eikichi replied informatively. He knew this stuff pretty well as his dream was to lead his own Visual Kei band.

"We'd need something wild and loud and beautiful like--- What's your favorite color, Selphie-chan?"

Of course, Selphie just nods, entirely in agreement with everything he was saying. Yup, yup. He seemed pretty right as far as she was concerned.

"Yellow!" She doesn't even hesitate - yellow is bright, beautiful, loud, and pretty! That had to work, always.

"Great!" Well that was a nice and bright color. Yellow hair wouldn't do as well as blue, though. Maybe streak it. "We'll have to design an awesome and loud outfit for you, like mine~"

"Like... yours..?"

Selphie blinked once, then she blinked twice, and allowed herself to stare at him for a moment or two.

"Okay. Do you design them yourself?"

"More feminine and cute, of course," Eikichi added. Visual Kei often had extravagant costume for the women. "I designed mine to make me more beautiful -- only the best for Michel, of course -- but I haven't designed a women's costume yet."

More feminine and cute? Selphie wrinkled her nose a little and placed a hand firmly on her hip - how much more feminine and cute could she possibly get?

Still, the idea was kinda exciting, "So what wouldya do to make ME more beautiful?"

"Hmm..." He put a thoughtful hand on his chin. She was pretty to begin with, but she needed a more Visual Kei flair. He wasn't as well-versed in women's wear. After all, he went to an all-boys school, so his band consisted of his friends, all boys.

"Maybe a bright yellow ruffly skirt, a cute fitted top or corset, some stockings - maybe dark to contrast -, and boots. The boots are a must."

Selphie blinked at him, just patiently waiting to hear his verdict on what she should be wearing. He had blue hair, so he must have interesting ideas, right?

"Oh! Oh! That sounds.. so cute!!" YES! The idea of that outfit in her head was amazing, and she could imagine skipping around on stage with that on.

"Let's get the outfits!!"

"Perfect!" he exclaimed, clasping his hands together with a smirk. This was working out absolutely wonderfully! "What shop sells clothes here? I haven't seen a Rosa Candida yet..."

Selphie clapsed her hands together too, really feeling the whole band motion going on.

"Huh? I don't know anyone called Rosa Candida... But there's plenty of clothes shops around!"

"It's the main clothing store in Sumaru City," Eikichi replied. Well what was left of Sumaru, if any. It wasn't in the best of shape as he last saw it.

"How about showing me around?"

"Oh - right! Sumaru... In Japan? Okay."

Selphie smiled, happier to be more useful now, "Definitely! I'm a pretty good tour guide, you know!"

"Yup," Eikichi replied. He'd never been outside of Japan before so this was a whole new experience. "Sounds like a plan. Guide away!"

Selphie giggled a little before taking a swift turn on her heel, taking her new friend on Selphie's famous Vatheon tour, pointing out all the important things, and stopping by the clothes places.

It was an interesting and very informative tour. The place here wasn't set up like Sumaru at all, which was probably for the better. No city floating in the sky, no Nazis or ancient aliens. Good. Under water, was still a bit weird. It was like being in Atlantis, and with what he'd been through, that was entirely possible. Not that he'd particularly talk about it anyway.

He took more interest in the clothing stores than anywhere else. He wasn't a big eater and was more into clothes and looking good.

Of course it was! Selphie was Welcoming Committee extraordinaire! Yes, Selphie's tour did include the best place for cake, and for ice cream, and even for sake.

"I've done a little bit of shopping here... It's just so weird, not having ta wear uniform all the time!"

Eikichi wasn't interested as much in cake or ice cream (though frozen yogurt wasn't out of the question). He was underage for sake too. He preferred to eat vegetarian, anyway.

Uniform? That caught Eikichi's attention. "Ya go to school too, huh?"

Well, there just seemed to be some people out there who didn't like treats - but Selphie wasn't one of those people.

"Oh, well, not really. Not any more. I graduated - I'm a solider."

"A soldier?" Well she didn't look like a Nazi. Then again, he hadn't ever seen a female Nazi anyway, and she was far too nice to be one anyway. And she hadn't attacked him yet, attempting to seal off his persona. "Which branch?"

[booyaka_boom]

"Uh huh! I don't look much, but I'm a mean fighter!" She smiled brightly at him but shook her head a little.

"Oh, I'm a SeeD. You won't have heard of us... Different world. But back home, we're a pretty big deal!"

Yeah, just a little bit proud of her job.

Definitely not a Nazi, but from another world? Well after Xibalba and the Maia, Eikichi wasn't hesitant to accept that answer. But this was interesting, whatever this SeeD thing was (what an odd name for a military organization too).

"A mean fighter, huh," he echoed. She really didn't look it but looks could be deceiving. An ally (especially a cool one) wouldn't be a bad idea. "Whatcha fight with? Elements? Hand to hand? Weapons? Persona?"

Definitely not a Nazi, though Selphie didn't even know what a Nazi was. At least she wasn't questioned, not even with the name. Most people thought it was weird.

"Yup!" And it wasn't a show of her fighting skills, but she performed a sharp salute as proof. "I use my nunchuks, and magic, and -" Hee-ey, he knew what Persona was. "Oh! You're a persona guy? Well, I have Guardian Forces, and they're kinda similar, I guess."
