[ There's a strangely dressed young woman sitting rather pointlessly on a bench by the plaza. She looks fairly worried and disconcerted, but that quickly (perhaps too quickly) passes when she looks down and recalls she has a fresh burger sitting on her lap, a little soggy from Maya's still damp costume. Snatching it up not so tenderly, she begins to munch on it, ruminating on the happenings of her day. ]

So.. I still don't really get what's going on, but I guess I'm stuck here for a while. Ugh! If only Nick were here! Or even Pearl.. I bet they could explain it better.

[ She takes an agitated bite, chewing at the side of her mouth. Seems she could use some calming down, some explanation, or.. just someone to make everything worse. Approach? ]

Perhaps she can, however, because Walter is making his way across the plaza with a burger in hand. The locals insisted he try something new -- different and bursting with flavor! -- and they wouldn't leave him alone until he took off with the greasy thing.

Hence the even fresher burger that he's taken exactly one bite out of and decided was distasteful (maybe because his palate is unused to it, maybe because he genuinely doesn't like it).

So what is he supposed to do with this atrocity? ]

However, Maya soon forgets about everything when she smells that smelly smell that smells smelly. So, after quickly engulfing the remainder of her hamburger, and hops up to follow the strange hamburglar.

Quarterway to ask for information.. the rest to ask where he got his burger, because she'd already forgotten where she'd originally gotten hers. ]

Heeey! Wait! Can you hear me?

[ His initial thought is to ignore the noisy woman somewhere behind him, until logic kicks in and he realizes that she's addressing him. With the slightest frown, he stops and turns, the hamburger lowered to his side. ]

What do you want?

[ Eep. Dat face. Maya stops, and is visually stunned for a moment; angry people are scary people.

After a moment, though, her desire to have more burgers kicks in. ]

U-Um, sorry, didn't mean to, um, bother you or anything! Could I just ask you a question? Maybe?

[She already asked, why does she feel the need to ask for confirmation for another question?
