Exactly what it says on the tin.

First brush up on some of the general rules outlined here first, then:

1) Labeling the subject with your character's name and canon is up to you, but would make recognition easier.
2) Do go ahead and tag out! The purpose of this mingle post is to get everyone cozy with the setting and the playerbase.
3) If you're up for it, make a reservation. Applications open on the 22nd!

Some prompts if you'd like a boost (the first chunk is lifted from the applications page, bless the mods):

A) A new curse has settled upon the city of Vatheon: Suddenly you character realizes they are unable to lie for the duration of a week.
B) What is this? Is that rain? How nice-- wait a minute, is it raining rubber duckies? Seriously?
C) Suddenly, by the force of Vatheon, an over zealous npc, or even your character's friends playing a joke, your character suddenly finds themselves wearing clothes they otherwise would never wear.
D) The city of Vatheon is under attack (again). Giant sea-creatures are wrecking the city (again). Time to prepare for battle.
E) A new plot development has happened and your character has decided to get some more information from one of the NPCs.

F) Whatever the heck your beautiful heart desires

[If he ever learned that, it would make him very worried about the Friend Computer. At the moment, he's just mildly disturbed.

Mildly disturbed and getting even more so. By the time Friend Computer is talking about treason, he's back on his feet again. By the time it mentions execution, he has his katana in hand, ready to stab if he needs to, or dodge if he needs to.

Apparently, he doesn't need to do either. But the sword doesn't go away.]

Before I say that, mind telling me what that was? Because it sounded a hell of a lot like you wanted to kill me.

Oh, I very much would like to do that. Under normal circumstances, I take breeches of security quite seriously. Under normal circumstances, you would be deemed a security risk, having restricted knowledge. This would be subject to a brainscrub, with possible subsequent medication. However, as a non-citizen you would be deemed a spy, and eliminated immediately. Under normal circumstances any citizen guilty of treason or spying would be executed, and their next clone would be dispatched to fill their position. These are not normal circumstances.

Riiiiight.

[Yeah, he's never letting go of his sword around this computer now.]

At least you're honest. And correct about these not being normal circumstances. This isn't Alpha Complex, whatever the hell that is. It's Vatheon. And whatever control you had there, it sure as fuck does not apply here.

Of that I am painfully aware. This CompNode is not equipped with any locomotive attachments, and it seems to have been brought here alone. Omnipresence is difficult to maintain when I only have seventeen cameras to work with. The bots here are no operating on wireless frequencies I am used to, and they seem to be ignoring my orders.

[If the computer ever needed to "act in the field", it would just use one of the legions of robots as a host. Normally thousands of CompNodes like this would be connected through the complex, with billions of cameras, monitors, and speakers available covering nearly every possible location. Some citizens of alpha complex spread rumors of the existence of "infrared markets" where the computer is blind, but these citizens must be in error. If the computer cannot see it, then it must not exist.]
