[Being someone who thrived for decades--perhaps even centuries in a desert, Grimmjow wasn't very familiar with water. Sure there was the rare oasis, but he never cared much for them. It wasn't until later that he started to adapt to it and frankly that was only during baths.
Hueco Mundo had no oceans.
Hueco Mundo was practically bone dry, so when he awoke in the center of the plaza he had a good reason to be alarmed.
Especially considering he actually recognized his surroundings. It took the arrancar a few minutes for everything to fully click, but as soon as it did he was pissed.]
...What the fuck. [Two years. He had been gone for two goddamned years and they just dumped him back in the plaza like he was nothing!]
