[ If one were to glance upward on one of the rooftops, Vatheon, one would catch sight of this one particular young man. There's a small look of irritation on his face as he holds a cellphone to his ear. As expected, there was no reception. If there was, it was clear he just couldn't get hold of whoever he needed to. Nontheless, he seems calm through all this. He doesn't seem affected at all, really. Calm as you please as he settles himself down on the roof he's landed himself on and lies back, folding his arms behind his head and staring up at the bubble with a momentary look of disdain. But that melts away after a moment and he looks unconcerned once more.

If anything, he looks pretty tuckered out... like he's three minutes away from a really long nap. ]

Vatheon, huh...?

[ Kenshin was quite fond of high places. The rooftops were perfect for that. he was simply surprised to find another perched so hi. ]

An interesting choice for a nap location.

[ He props himself up on his elbows at the voice. No sense in lying there with company around, after all. But Suoh doesn't bother with the pleasantries. He decides to get straight to the point. ]

What's with this city?

[ there was a lot with this city, mostly wrong. ]

In what sense?

[ He pauses, getting up and slipping his hands into his pockets as he stands near the edge to get a better look at the city below. There's something up. Something in the air and he didn't like it one bit. As far as Suoh was concerned, this wasn't the sort of matter that was so easily dismissed. After all, he woke up here without warning. This certainly was no dream. ]

What kind of city is it?

[ Kenshin shifts his weight, resting his hand on the hilt of his sword. That sure is an interesting question. ]

It is a city underwater, an odd one indeed.

[ There's a small frown there as his hands fish out his cigarettes. The way Kenshin stands reminds him of someone, makes him need a smoke something awful. Sadly, his cigarettes are soaked and this does not make for a happy Mikoto. ]

Yeah, I guess odd doesn't cover it.

[ He's gonna try anyway. Cigarette goes between his lips and a snap of his fingers is all he needs to light it. ]

[ he offers a slight yet polite bow. ]

[ He was never one for pleasantries. That bow isn't returned and all he does is turn his attention back to the city before him. ]

[ A small drag from his cigarette. ]

And this clearly isn't Japan.

Not in the least. This land is called Vatheon. It is a city beneath the ocean, an odd one, at best.
