[ With a loud crash, the entire ground within a mile trembles. Black☆Star falls from atop a large building fist-first into the ground, punching it into a flash-photo k.o. ]

HOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!

[ He rises from the rubble, dusting off his shoulders and cracking his knuckles. With a thumbs up, he points it to himself to frame a big, shining grin. ]

Citizens of... Wherever the heck this place is! Behold, the time of darkness has come to a close! The curtain flaps shut to leave the audience without rest, at a cliff hanger, a tension-filled ending-- Only for them to swing right back open and reveal me, Black☆Star!

Do not hesitate, no need to hold applause! I am here to bring light to an otherwise dark and dreary underwater hellhole!

[ His voice tones down, and his arms cross while he perks a pout in his lips and takes a look around. ]

Of course, it goes without saying that some light being shed is pretty obviously needed. As usual, I'm way ahead of every time any time. It never ends.

[ Clearly busy with patting himself on the back, it's not until he hears the ever-so-enjoyed applause that he turns around. The familiar face of Maka greets him, and it entices a cheesy grin. Maka? Applauding him? ]

This place messes with time. You might have seen me just an hour ago, whatever we were all doing, but I've been here for the past year, almost two years.

... Holy crap.

[ Black☆Star crosses his arms, trying to make sense of it when it's clearly not gonna happen. Surprisingly, he's silent as he stares at the date. His eyes remain on the device as he gives a heavy sigh. ]

Almost two years, huh?

[ His voice goes soft, as if he's going to say something along the lines of having pity for her. She must have been so lonely this whole time if all of her friends have just started showing up now. He extends a hand, patting Maka affectionately on the back. ]

Wow.

You must be in complete disarray having gone almost two years without my bright, shining smile. I feel real sorry for you. But that's over now, so don't fret!

[Sort of kind of--shut up. They're still friends even if he is irritating and egocentric.]
