[It's one thing to barely survive a wish gone wrong that turns you into a monster. It's quite another to wake up after your defeat to find yourself somewhere entirely different and soaked to the bone when there had been no water anywhere close to where you were before. Especially disorienting is that moment you notice that the sky above your head is not in fact a sky at all, but the most water you have ever seen in your life.

Naturally, Vaati is feeling more than a little overwhelmed by all of this.]

...This has to be a dream. It's just to weird not to be.

[She leans forward, still laying on her broom but not reclined back anymore, and she looks more confused than before.]

The...what? No... they call it...

[She appears in deep thought for a minute.]

Oh! The Lmfao... or Lamufao... yea that's it!

{She leans back again, very proud of herself.]

Picori. The little people who help out humans with things. ...Or at least they're suppose to, anyway. Only children can see them, so if they're here, that may be why nobody's noticed that's what the "coral" really is.

[Vaati looks mildly irritated at this. Really, he'd have though that at least in his dreams that he wouldn't have to explain things, especially not his original species. Seriously, that of all things should be common knowledge.]

[She sits back upright, hovering just above the ground, feet swinging back and forth.]

I've never heard of those. But, from what I was told, these little critters are not very helpful at all. Hmm... but I haven't seen any kids here yet either, so I dunno... they might be those things, and just be in a bad mood?

[She looks over at the coral, staring at it as if it might answer the question.]

Maybe they decided helping without reward was too much trouble and wanted to make you humans work for them for once.

[By this time he's already making his way over to the so-called coral to check for Picori. If this was a dream, at least it made for an interesting twist on it and was pandering to his curiosity.]

[Arche follows behind him towards the coral, turning upside down and hanging by her legs from the broom, her eyes still eye level with him.]

Work for them? They just curse us, and stuff.
Y'know... you're awfully little and cute. What are you?

[She grins, hovering behind him.]

[He wheels around in an instant, looking both angry and rather embarrassed.]

I am not cute! Powerful demons such as myself are the furthest thing from cute!

[Any threat behind his words is greatly reduced by the rather bright blush he's beginning to sport.]
