Character: Friedelinde Ceibeluru
Fandom: Record of Agarest War Zero
Player Name: Code Name Ellipses
[A young officer presumably in her twenties, Friedelinde, often known as Linda, is a busy woman indeed. With a stern face and mighty grip on her spear, she stalks the general vicinity of Vatheon daily, wary. Along the way, numerous encounters are made, and different facets of her are uncovered . . . ]
(defense force)
[As a lieutenant, Friedelinde has assumed both roles of the battle group and taken to patrolling on a regular basis. Vatheon proves itself peaceful for much of the month, but there are risks that she shan't take in this foreboding calm. At some point, she may meet with another Defense Force member to discuss patrol:]
No instabilities to report in this area. What of yours?
[Or someone sparks her suspicions. It may be as mundane an action as loitering at an alley, or something appropriately shady, but her hand rests on her side as she inquires:]
You, there. What are you doing?
(on love)
[Friedelinde is not very feminine by nature of her upbringing, but the natives seem to find her charming still. Enough so that a salesperson approaches and offers an assortment of jewelry, at which she bats a single glance.]
I commend your initiative, but I am not interested in accessorizing myself at this time. You may wish to try a more ladylike audience.
["Oh, but you are! You have a lovely face; wouldn't your boyfriend like to see you prettied up?"]
B-b-b-b-b-boyfriend!? I-I have no such thing! . . . I mean, I must dedicate my efforts to my duty first and foremost! Especially in Vatheon, where its citizens are ever at peril, romance is far below my primary concern!
[But her cheeks are tinged slightly pink, and the native has no intention of letting up. Friedelinde, on the other hand, appears about ready to run off in veiled shame. If her dignity snaps, she just might forget her pride momentarily to do so.]
(network; video)
It has come to me over the duration of my stay there there is a diverse population in Vatheon. The world from which I hail, too, houses numerous kinds of people. But there are as many of those races unrepresented here as there are those I have never encountered.

I see. Has anyone informed you of Vatheon and its mercurial nature? You seem quite well-adjusted already.

Well, I've heard a few things.
[Because yes, he did his research.]
I wouldn't be opposed to hearing more, though. And do I?
[Chill is kind of his standard mood. This is the guy who wasn't flustered when his friend pulled down her shirt and shoved her breasts in his face to show him a rash—]

Most initial arrivals involve varying degrees of perplexity or indignation. [It is clear that this boy exhibits low to nonexistent levels of both. It's logical, if he has had time to settle down and eavesdrop.] But very well. How much have you heard?
no subject
Is that so? Maybe I'm just in shock then.
[Except probably not, but whatever.
He holds up the brochure, still smiling.]
Everything in this. It's a lot to take in, though.

If you have committed its contents to memory, then you're already fairly knowledgeable of the city's workings. As of this moment, should you be feeling a little weaker from the norm, I advise touching the coral for nourishment.
A member of the Welcoming Committee may be better able to answer your questions, should you have any, but I shall try my hand at doing so on their part.

He smiles sheepishly.]
And here I thought it was because I hadn't eaten anything for a while.
[He nods.]
Thank you. You're a good person, aren't you?

Well, he has a few non-serious questions, but he has one serious question to get out of the way first.]
How much do you know about these time paradoxes mentioned here? Regarding being pulled from different times?
[He can make a conclusion based on that—and he certainly hopes that it's true, for his friends' sakes—but he'd like confirmation.]

[HE NEEDS TO MAKE SURE
THAT TIME WON'T PASS BACK HOME
BECAUSE HE HAS TO PROTECT EVERYONE!!!]
no subject
No. Time passes differently, if it does not freeze altogether.

But phew. He looks pretty relieved right now.]
Is that right? I'm glad to hear that, then.

Might as well.]
Well, let me just get off this roof first.

[Since he presumably went up there on his own, she expects he can come down just as well.]

[A brief wave!
And now he is going to be a normal person and go down the stairs.
(I mean sure he could jump off and break some bones or his neck and then heal and possibly scare her, but he would... rather just walk down the stairs...]
