[Fish Olympics, you say?

A.) ...Minako seems to have taken this as an invitation to win her own gold medal in Sushi Eating. You can easily find her sitting at a table surrounded by plates. She might look up at you guiltily if you come talk to her.

B.) However, eventually even she has to stop! When she does, she goes down to the sand castle building competition......

Is she building a tower that's nearly three hundred stories tall? What the hell, Minako?]

Oh, it's okay. It's more for fun than competition anyway, right?

...Sure.

[She agrees, reluctantly at first, but when nobody objects, she bends down and starts to help her start to build. She doesn't usually like getting sand all over herself but...

Eh. This outfit's due for a wash anyway.

She gives a bit of a sigh as she works, watching her friend for a moment.]

You seem to like it here so far... Minako-chan.

[It's odd. Maybe she's lucky in a way, to have memories of her from the last time she'd appeared in the city. Scattered, broken memories of her, as SEES's leader...

But either way, she still almost says "Minato."]

Well, it's nice to have all this beach time, don't you think, Yukari?

[Minako piles a bit of sand further on top of the precarious tower.]

Honestly, I was prepared for much worse.

[She cocks an eye over at Yukari.]

...Has it been weird for you?

[She's got a good point there. Living on Tatsumi Port Island, she honestly thought she'd grown bored of the beach, but she found herself missing it in the early months of her stay here. She's glad the elevator was built, she's glad the island is here...

Heh.

It does get much worse, but so far, it hasn't been anything SEES can't handle.]

Well no, not exactly. I've been here for a while, so I guess I'm adjusted by now. It just...usually takes a while for some people.

[Then again, if her past is the same as Minato's... it's not surprising.]

Mmhm. Well, I adjust pretty quickly. [She scoops up a bit of sand.] And with so many of my friends here...

[A slightly shadowy expression crosses her face. Of course, not all of them recognize her. But... She shrugs.]

How bad could it be?

[...Ah, Yukari catches that expression. She knows not everyone remembers, but-- well, she's as much a member of SEES as any of them. She hopes that she knows that.]

Yeah, you're right.

[She laughs a bit as she lightens the mood, as she continues to add onto their sand structure.

...Good thing about Tartarus-- or building it-- is that they can make it look however they want.]

[That's the good thing. The bad part is managing to reach those high parts.

Granted, the stories are very small, but hey, it's still hard to get to the top.]

How are you enjoying the Fish Olympics, Yukari-chan? What a cute name...

[It was a long year, definitely, and it took a lot of hard work. But it's a year she wouldn't forget. Not again.

-- oops, she's not thinking as much about the sandy version in front of them anymore.]

It hasn't been too bad. No Archery event though, so I decided to leave this one to the boys.

...Akihiko-senpai and Minato-kun both signed up.

[Her gaze drops a bit at that.

Have...the two of them met yet? Because if she thinks people not recognizing her is confusing...]

You've got plenty of other talents than archery, Yukari-chan. I'd like to see you shark wrestling... or playing jellyfish volleyball.

[She nods briefly at the mention of those two.]

Yeah. [She doesn't trust herself entirely to not sound a little hurt about the accompanying circumstances, though. She simply adds, therefore:]

It's good for them. What did they do?

[...sdkfjkas wow no thanks.

She might break a nail or something okay. She'll give Minako a laugh though, humoring the idea before answering her question. If she does sound hurt, Yukari doesn't quite catch it...]

Oh, you know how they are. A bit of everything.

[A laugh. Both of them have a tendency to overload themselves. Especially Minato-- even for silly activities like this.

Then again, Minako could be the same way.]

[Minako laughs.]

I guess if I'd gotten here in time, I'd be like that too, huh?

...Yeah.

But don't worry. The locals pull stuff like this all the time.

[Silly events. If she sticks around long enough, she'll get to see more.]

Oh, that's exciting. Though I bet the Fish Olympics only come once every four years, right?

[A laugh.]

We'll have to find out together. I've been here for a while, but it hasn't been that long.

[Minako shrugs.]

Hey, if I get to have four years here, I'll be pretty happy.

[Which ... she doesn't mean quite the way it sounds (DEADGIRLWALKING). She means that it's a nice vacation spot. But... she realizes how it sounds too, after the fact.]

...That's okay though, she kind of understands. Yukari often wonders how long she'll be here herself, but apparently the Coral likes her.]

[She wipes some sweat from her forehead, taking a brief break from their Tartarus sand-building.]

Let's go see how the others are doing after we're done, okay?

[There are other events going on, after all. The boys will want some encouragement.]

Sounds good! ...I've been at this a while anyway. We can stop whenever.

[geez Minako. who wouldn't think that, given the whole giant size of it?]

[It is getting pretty big, isn't it?

Haha, she nods. She's surprised it hasn't toppled over yet. But hey, she's willing to do this for as long as Minako wants to.

Yukari is really glad she's here. And hopefully she will be for a while to come.]
