[ Hmmm.. how odd. One moment Yukiko remembers getting off the train and the next moment she's soaking wet. The makeup that she had on for her disguise had been washed away as well. The scenery was nice with the surrounding buildings as well as the coral was in front of her but... was she underwater? It looks like it.

She doesn't seem too amused to be soaking wet, though things could have been worse. At least before arriving here she knows that they have won the latest battle between them and the Black Organization, though from the beginning she had confidence that they would with Kaito Kid's help.

Well, first thing's first. Figure out her surroundings and find out where she is. Also see if she can find anyone around. ]

[As usual, Conan had been out walking through this strange city trying to figure out the more absurd parts of this situation to his satisfaction.

...It only had the bonus of getting him away from dealing with Kid for a few hours.

When he comes across a very familiar face, he can only stand and stare.]

[ After looking at the Coral in the middle of the Plaza Yukiko turns to take a look around the city itself. When she does so she sees that familiar face standing there and staring. ]

Oh!

[ Well this was unexpected. She wasn't sure if anyone else was in the vicinity. Though it wasn't nice to just stand and stare there. ]

I mean Auntie Yukiko? When did you arrive?

[He comes walking quickly toward her as he recovers from the shock.]

[ Good boy. You came over. She doesn't have to go over there now. ]

I arrived here say... ten minutes ago? I stepped off the train and suddenly I'm here.

[ Wherever that is. It looks like they're in the city of Atlantis or something. ]

Ran was taken home last week, and the only other people here from home are Kid and his friend.

[Much as he was glad to see his mother again, he couldn't deny that the situation had become troublesome again.]

We've been kidnapped. There is very little information on the reasons yet, but its clear that there is currently no way out of this city.

[ ... So Ran-Chan was here and Kaito-Kun is here? This is odd.. ]

Kidnapped? This is an interesting way to be kidnapped. [ Especially after winning against the Black Organization ] Do you know who's behind this?

I can't argue with that. Most of the people here seem to treat the situation as some kind of long-term vacation.

[He found that attitude nearly as irritating as the complete disregard for the laws of physics.]

Some hints, but nothing solid yet. It has something to do with the coral in the center of town.

Maybe Yusaku-Kun should arrive here then. He could use a vacation~

[ Because any vacation he takes back home doesn't last long with deadlines and everything.

She turns and looks at the coral ]

That coral?

They call it the Lamufao. It is linked to the mechanism that maintains the barrier around this city. How, I haven't discovered. [Every person he had approached for answers had just attributed it to magic. An answer he refused to accept.]

[ She listens to Conan for a bit, nodding her head as she understands before realizing something ]

[ But weren't they all just on a train having a match with the Black Organization? ]

[ Did you know your son has a dopple-ganger? Well he does, and said dopple ganger is in the middle of pouring soap into the fountain-but not just ordinary soap, this soap is full of colored dyes. ]

[ Yukiko turns and notices this. She walks right on over and puts her arms on her hips. Luckily for her (but perhaps not so lucky for him) Yukiko will be able to tell between her son and his dopple-ganger and to add to this had met said dopple-ganger a few years ago and technically a few hours ago when he assisted them but that's not the point.

However, she doesn't register him as Toichi's son quite yet. Just a familiar looking black haired boy who may or may not be her son. ]

[ It isn't often that people succeed in sneaking up on Kaito so pay no attention to the fact that he jumps and nearly falls over. ]

Oh-um... making the fountain more interesting. [ He's so busy pretending that he's innocent that he hasn't yet recognized Yukiko. ]

[ Once she gets a look at your face she blinks. She then bends over to get a closer look. ]

[ She straightens up and claps her hands together. Now she recognizes you ]

You're Kaito-Kun, right? Kuroba Toichi's son?

[ ...If she learned the art of disguise from his dad then... did she know he was really Kid? Does she know that he's Kid now? ]

Yes, I have. I've heard it from my husband. Though he didn't tell me any details.

[ Luckily for you Kaito she didn't know your father was Kid. Nor that she knows you are otherwise she would have taken your appearance here differently. ]

[ Well, now that Meitantei knows, it probably won't take long for her to figure it out. ]
