[Angelina wonders if she lost her way in London after Mary Ann Nichols. Did she pass out, anyway? She can't remember how she ended up soaking wet in something else than blood... Last thing she vaguely remembers seeing is the image of a red-haired man with a chainsaw, watching her intently as she killed the prostitute.

Fortunately, she still carries her knife with her. As she looks around, she realizes she is in a dome underwater. How did she get here, anyway? Where is this place? She can only be wary as she takes a few steps away from the Plaza. Even though her fine clothes are dripping wet, she holds herself in an elegant manner that makes her look sophisticated. Anyone who happens to see her would realize she's an aristocrat. Quite an outdated one, by modern standards, of course.]

Hello? Is anyone here? [She looks around, starting to get impatient and irritated at the silence.] I can't possibly be alone in this place, right?

[ Oh dear. Well, if this isn't a welcome sight. He knows the sight of blood all too well. These weren't caused by any injuries whatsoever. The way they soaked into the clothes and how they splayed over the body spoke otherwise. No. This, he decided, was the work of a like-minded individual.

But he didn't want to come off as too aggressive. His types, those types, tended to be a little on the defensive side when confronted. ]

You certainly are anything but alone. Are you alright?

[She swiftly turns around when she hears a man's voice behind her. It's a man dressed in white. She doesn't trust the way he looks at her. Could it be that he belongs to the Scotland Yard? She's ready to answer to any accusations claiming self-defense.

And instead of answering his question, she asks one herself. She glares at him distrustfully.] Who are you?

[Wow, talk about a lady out of time. This was a whole separate level than Desmond. He approaches, looking non-threatening enough, but deathly curious and more than a little shy to ask.]

Nope, definitely not alone but... did you just come from a costume party or something?

[She quickly turns around and sees a curious man walking towards her. While she's still confused, she probably shouldn't tell him she's wearing real blood, and that this is no costume.]

Yes, I do. Do you happen to know where this place is? I'm afraid I'm rather lost... [Smiles at him.]

So far all I've heard is the name Vatheon thrown around, but like... geographically speaking? Continent, country, all that stuff - not a clue. Sorry. I'm about as lost as you are.

[Still vaguely believing this to be an island-induced hallucination again. He smiles though.]

Name's Hurley. What's yours?

[Vatheon? It doesn't sound familiar to her either.] I see. I haven't heard of such a place either.

[Personally, she thinks she might have accidentally inhaled chloroform. Or opium. Or some kind of drug that might have been hanging around in the air.] My name is Angelina.

Do you know if there's a way out? [Even if the body of the woman she killed isn't nearby, she's still worried the Scotland Yard might show any minute now.]

Uh, no, nobody seems to know how to get out. You know, short of this being a really trippy dream. I'm used to being stuck on an island, but being stuck in a big bubble underwater is a new one.

Sure could use Aquaman right about now.

What is Aquaman?

He's an under-appreciated super-hero with pretty cool water-powers, but because most stories take place above ground, he's kinda just a good fighter most of the time.

But, uh, to answer your question - I... guess so? I'm not exactly in charge or anything.

[Superheroes? Well, she'll just ignore that. Superheroes didn't exist in her time anyway. More importantly, she can tell he's not a high-ranking individual.]

I can see that. But maybe you can help a lady find a place to wash and rest for a while? [And some clean clothes.]

[He stands up a little straighter because that first part didn't bother him that much.]

[Now he's a man on a mission! He pulls out the SFC and squints at it, twisting it until the map makes more sense.] I think that... this way! It's one of the nicer buildings. I think you'll like it.

[And he starts walking along, without offering his arm or anything chivalrous. FOR SHAME!]

[This man certainly lacks manners! She frowns at him, wondering if he will notice her displeasure. Even commoners would at least offer her a chivalrous gesture. She follows him anyway because she has no choice.

And only she wonders about that strange device she found on the ground.] What is that thing, Mr. Hurley?

Oh this? It's kinda like a cross between... [He looks at her again.] A lot of things you probably don't know anything about. Um...

You can use it to talk to people all over the place, face-to-face, or voice-to-voice, or just writing out a letter, but without a pen. That's the most useful part about it, anyway, but it's also got a map of the area.

[Looks at it thoughtfully.] Like a telegraph? Or a telephone?

[But how strange, the devices she knows don't allow face-to-face communication. Or contain maps.] How strange...
