[Dave probably has gone soft with being on the meteor for so long on top of being stuck in Vatheon.

He'll also never tell Bro how he kind of just went and hugged Dirk when he first arrived back and how embarrassing that kind of was. Also, he would have totally hugged Bro, but that would be really uncool and Bro probably wouldn't appreciate it.
