[ he squints at the feed and can't help but notice something is just a little off... ]

There are so many strange new things in this communicator that I did not notice. [She looked at this person and his instructions on how to filter things and what not. What he said next widen her eyes]

[Seeing Nunnally over the network made Lelouch's throat tighten up. Would she want to speak with him? The last conversation he had had with her had been less than favorable, but...he was still worried about her.

He's hesitant before he actually answers, and...finally decides he needs to.]

[He holds off on saying anything else until she responds, because that would determine the way he'd speak with her the rest of this conversation.]

[She wasn't sure how to react to him. A part of her was happy to see him here and yet, another part of her didn't. How would a sister feel when her brother just sentenced her to death? She wasn't sure but she kept her tone firm]

[There was a moment of hesitation, should she trust this person? However, it seems that she doesn't have much of a choice as she couldn't walk. She paused for moment to think about his question]

[So then she remembered something he didn't. He's not exactly sure how to take that either - because whatever happened in between them got even worse.]

[Nunnally was feeling the same emotions as well. She truly did wanted to understand why her brother was doing this but no matter how hard she tried, it came back to the same conclusion. No one could be that horrible and take that many lives right? She wasn't too sure but she wanted to believe in that.]

Then, what was the last thing you remember?

[If he was before that time period, then perhaps Nunnally could prevent what was to come?]

[...He didn't like thinking about it. But she had asked - and he was going to have to tell her now, after finding out what time she came from.]

[He's getting tense - but that's mostly because he's thinking about Schneizel's way of bringing it back up. He had let him believe Nunnally was dead, and then...played her like a pawn when the moment was right.

It had been a bold move, and one that he knew he was going to make Schneizel pay for.]

[Then there was still time to convince him that what he has done was wrong. Hopefully.]

I see... I'm afraid that such things have not changed.

[It hurt her to know that she said that to her brother and her childhood friend. However, what could she have done in that situation?] You two are still my enemies.

[It hurts him to say it - because he was hoping that she would find it in her heart to forgive him. At least here. Should he call for a truce, as selfish as that would be?

But this was his sister. The fact that he had to think about these things shouldn't happen in the first place.]

[There was a moment of hesitation. Should she trust him? However, getting closer to him means that she could understand his motivations better but that would also mean getting herself more in danger. He wanted to rule the world right? Then...does that mean he was just using her too?

[That's such an easy answer. But understanding that she's from a different point in time than he is, she might be a little slower to trust him.

...Wow, did that hurt to just think about. But he couldn't lie to her - not about this. Not here, where she would be alone otherwise.]

[And it was 100% the truth.]

[Should she believe his words? She had heard about Rolo before but still...]

[She doesn't have much of a choice but to trust him for now]

[He nods, and starts making his way out of the apartment he's staying in. At least she had accepted his help.

[Right now, Nunnally was conflicted. If they were to go back, what would happen if they remembered everything? Would that change anything at all? She hoped it might but it would create a problem. Now that they were in a place where politics didn't matter, they were simply brother and sister here. However, when they go back, they'll be enemies again.

It wasn't long until she heard approaching footsteps. Even without looking up, she could tell that it was her brother. Who else would run towards her like that? Her head was still on the ground before he kneeled down. What should she say? She looked up at him but she tried to smile]

[Quietly he puts a hand on her back, and moves to start picking her up, looking over at her. It was so strange to...feel like this again. To be a brother to Nunnally.]

[She had mentioned he was there (which he obviously doesn't remember), but he wanted to know when.]

[Nunnally didn't mind but she was still a little unsure about Lelouch. Could they really return being back to being brother and sister here? Before she could answer, she hesitated.]

[To stand against him...her only brother. It took him a lot to even think about going against her. What was she thinking and feeling?

Thinking that he ultimately hurt her in an attempt to make the world a better place for her...it was upsetting.]

[Nunnally didn't say anything to him. Were they the only ones here? wondered what would happen if others saw this. A queen being carried to safety by her enemy. She had to have some dignity. However, there was something that had bothered her for quite sometimes. She sighed as she looked up at him.]

Lelouch, there is something I wanted to ask. [A pause] You said that you wanted to take over the world but...you said you did it for my sake. Which is really true?

[As everything else, Lelouch has to think it over. In the end, he would hope that she would've been able to realize it or herself, but in a situation like this...]

Both. [His voice is quiet as he keeps walking.] That world that you wanted...a kinder and gentler place - I was going to give it to you.

[But then she kept her voice down. She was so conflicted, she wasn't sure what to do. Besides, she didn't feel like having this conversation again. At least, not now.]

[He's still trying to remain calm and passive about this, even if he didn't want to. But upsetting her further wasn't a good idea either.]

[It was selfish of her but she was honestly fine with living her live with her brother. While she did care for others, was it worth it? Plus, he killed so many others. It wasn't only his sin but hers as well]

This place not only brings people from different worlds, but from different times within their worlds. Euphemia has no knowledge of what happened the day she passed away.
